Vinylfever: I have been a record collector, hobbyist, buyer/seller at record shows, and eBay seller for over 35 years. I first started working for a friend of my fathers when I was 13 at a used record store called the Music Faucet in Hayward, CA in the summer of 1975. Later I met another record store owner who asked me to work in his store originally named Vinylfever. Vinylfever grew into 2 stores for a period of time in Lafayette and Walnut Creek called The Record Exchange. In the early 1980's The Record Exchange was one of the Bay Area hangouts for heavy metal record buyers including members of Metallica, Megadeath, and others. In the last few years I have revitalized the passion of my younger years and have met some of the most interesting and involved people that travel the world of the record collecting community.
